Army Goodwill School, Uri is an eminent educational institute imparting quality education to the children of Uri tehsil and adjoining areas. Started in the year 2000 as a primary school, the Army Goodwill School, Uri has now grown into a high school with admirable infrastructure and facilities.

     With well spread out campus, the school has spacious class rooms and enviable ancillary facilities. The school has a state of the art computer laboratory, multi-media centre with Wi-Fi connections, live teaching with i-pads and latest teaching aids.       The Army Goodwill School, Uri added another feather to its cap when a library and museum for the school was inaugurated by Major General Bipin Rawat, YSM, SM, VSM, GOC Dagger Division in a ceremony which was held at the Army Goodwill School, Uri on 03 October 2012.

   The School library has over 3000 books for the children of the school on various subjects which shall enthral and capture the attention of the school children of all age groups. All genres including reference books, fiction, encyclopaedias, history, science and technology, self-improvement etc. have been included in the library.

   Similarly, the computer museum, first of its kind in the country, traces the origins of the modern day computer and explains their functioning with the aid of functional models. Various Computers, components and peripherals have been displayed which explain the process of computing and data storage. Models of other IT associated equipment has also been put on display which exhibits the quantum leaps of technology over such a short period of time.
