ORIGIN & HISTORY

The school was opened in 2000 with lower primary class and recognized as primary school. It was upgraded in 2007 as middle school with class 8th .in 2009 it was recognized by j & k board secondary school. First batch of 10th class in 2009, 2nd batch 2010 and third batch in 2011 with 100% results. Some students who achieved distinction in uri sub division got above 80% marks in board exam. The school is providing quality education with 100% results in classes. In this year 37 students scored 95% to 100% marks. There are 20 teachers, one clk and 4 peons in the school.

the school is providing teaching through eureka system in math, english, science, sst, internet facility is also in the school and e-learning is provided to students.The school is well equipped with science labroraty, activities and computer lab, learning by doing to lower classes is the aim of school.521 students are in the school, they are from poor family and coming from loc and for flung areas of uri. Every year we are giving scholarship of 3 lacs to 40 students through sadbhavana.20 students are exempted from monthly tuition fee. The school has provided civil buses to students. The school infrastructure is well equipped with electricity and drinking water facility with water filter machine. Separate toilet facility for boys & girls are provided.
